Coquette Releases 2015 Main Collection

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario – Coquette has released its 2015 Main Collection that will be in stores early next year.

Photographed in downtown Toronto with the cityscape as a backdrop, the catalog represents the urbanite feel to Coquette’s latest collection. The company says its designers produced a collection that will carry throughout the year with styles that include foundation pieces, special occasion, bridal and Coquette Diva - the lingerie company's plus line. Lighter, less structured styles are prevalent in the 2015 lookbook with soft lace cups and silhouettes to show off a woman's curves..

“Our vision for this collection was to design a line that embodies the career woman who wants her lingerie to be sensual and wearable,” said senior designer Elaine Carson. “We focused on using specific materials such as stretch lace, mesh and powernet to provide pieces that fit perfectly to the body without being constrictive.”

This year, the company says it has moved away from overly decorated pieces to a sexier, more sophisticated collection, following the theme of “less is more.” Neons and bright colors are also making their debut into the line, something that the designers say they believe to be a perfect transitional sub-collection into spring and summer.

Additional changes to the line have been the inclusion of Spellbound and the La Petite collections now being found in the back of the book. Spellbound, the brand's light bondage line has transformed into a more risqué look that includes Coquette's first removable cup design. Bustiers and babydolls with the playful feature are accompanied by removable tassels that double as a tickler.

“Every year we take into account the requests of our customers and try to incorporate as many as possible to our future lines,” explained national sales manager Dave George. “For 2015, buyers will be pleased to learn that we are offering more colors and sizes to our accessories, and Spellbound is much more racier.”

La Petite, Coquette's accessories line, is now sporting more neon colors due to demand, the company said. The bestseller ruffle booty shorts style #114 received more color options as well as XXL to the size range. In response to the popularity to the ruffle booty shorts, the design team has released a matching ruffle panty that will be available in all the top selling colors.
